Rainhill has been awarded Arts Mark Gold. Rainhill High School has emerged from a very vigorous external assessment of the quality and depth of provision and opportunity with the top award. Mr Kingston and some students will attend the awards ceremony at the Royal Philharmonic Hall, Liverpool to receive the award. The judges felt the huge range of Arts Courses eg. Photography, Drama, Media, Music Technology etc; the range of opportunities - School Wind Band, trips to Philadelphia, Artists in Residence, the participation level of students; and the quality of facilities eg. Radio Station, Dance Studio were particular strengths. Many thanks to the hard work of all the staff and students in achieving this prestigious award |
